Come da noi anticipato su Twitter, al CES di Las Vegas si sono viste in buona quantità le prime schede madri di fascia alta destinate ad accogliere le CPU RyZen, le cui live demo hanno infiammato gli animi dei videogiocatori e degli utenti Enthusiast.
AsRock, Biostar, Gigabyte e MSI hanno mostrato alcune soluzioni basate sul chipset X370, destinato ad equipaggiare le schede madri di fascia più elevata, mentre Asus sembra voler tenere in serbo le proprie schede per un evento ad hoc. Parlando della piattaforma, va menzionato il supporto di base a tutti i più recenti standard: DDR4, NVMe, M.2, USB 3.1 Gen 1 e Gen 2. Questo significa che non solo le CPU RyZen dovrebbero garantire un eccellente rapporto prezzo/prestazioni, ma la piattaforma in generale potrà fornire un’eccellente longevità. I videogiocatori e gli utenti enthusiast – secondo quanto fino ad oggi trapelato - potranno assemblare una piattaforma moderna e prestante senza per questo svenarsi acquistando la piattaforma Socket 2011v3 di Intel.
