A tal proposito Roy Taylor, Corporate VP di AMD, ha affermato: “It’s an exciting time to be at the heart of all things Virtual Reality. I’m confident that with Dell and Alienware, we can enable a wide audience of PC users with extraordinary VR capabilities powered by AMD Radeon GPUs”.
Nel mentre AMD si è aggiudicata il prestigioso Lumiere Award: "AMD was recognized with the prestigious Lumiere Award by the Advanced Imaging Society for innovation in entertainment technology at the 7th Annual Technology and New Product Awards Luncheon at the Paramount Pictures Studios on the Paramount Lot in Hollywood, Calif". We are honored by the industry recognition of AMD LiquidVR(TM) as the future in the field of creative arts sciences in Hollywood. With AMD LiquidVR(TM) technology, developers in the film industry to developers in gaming, medicine, research and education can fully unlock the GPU horsepower in Radeon(TM) and together, we can create breathtaking and revolutionary VR experiences".
