As advanced some days ago, the upcoming DX12 titles will make difference in the AMD-NVIDIA contest.
The tiny uArch differences between AMD GPUs in PS4/XB1 and the PC AMD GPUs will allow the developers to make an easier and faster porting of their own games from console to PC ("Bring console optimizations to PC"), and this state could hurt the NVIDIA users.
NVIDIA, to the best of our knowledge, is working hard to improve its Kepler/Maxwell drivers efficiency in DX12 games, but the Fermi support is still pending: rightly, they are prioritising its own most recent uArch.
As we can see, Killer Instinct rewards the GCN GPUs, in spite of the little amount of Async Compute tasks. What will happen with full-DX12 (12.0, not 12.1) titles?
