Passino DSL o Puppy ma... Xubuntu o Lubuntu? :? Quali speranze ci possono essere che siano più leggere di Raspbian?

Come ram ho visto che richiedono 256 mb minimo, il rasp ne ha 512, con un po' di ottimizzazione riusciamo a sfruttare bene anche la cpu. :D

Scusate l'assenza, ma sto concludendo i test. :U

Il SoC del Raspberry scala davvero bene. Dal passaggio delle frequenze 700 (CPU) - 250 (GPU) - 400 (RAM) MHz @ 1000-500-600 MHz le prestazioni aumentano tra un 30% ed un 60%, a seconda dell'applicazione (7Zip e Rar sono quelle che guadagnano di più). Sarei curioso di provare qualche SoC ARM dual core. Su eBay vedo che costano sui 60 euro ...

A default lo puoi usare come serverino per impieghi minori, non certo come centro multimediale (è lento). Occato comincia a dire la sua, ma deve essere raffreddato da una ventolina e devono essere applicati dei piccoli dissipatori. Lo limita il fatto di essere un single core. Comunque per 35/40 euro è un bel pezzo di hardware. Poi è fabbricato in EU, Inghilterra. :D

Assolutamente Raspbian. Le altre sono dei mattoni in confronto, praticamente inutilizzabili. Pidora, basata su Fedora, nei benchmark è tra le 2 e le 3 volte più lenta.

Per DSL non se ne fa nulla, non mi sembra supporti ARM. :U
