GPU-Z adesso visualizza anche le TMUs

TechPowerUp ha rilasciato la versione 0.6.7 di GPU-Z.

La novità principale di questa release è l'abilitazione alla visualizzazione del numero di TMUs (Texture Mapping Units) integrate nelle GPU, al fianco del numero delle ROPs. Strumento utile per controllare se il chip grafico è una versione "castrata" o "full".

Ricordiamo che, in particolari casi,  GPU-Z è in grado d'interrogare la GPU direttamente su alcuni parametri fondamentali (StreamProcessor, TMUs e ROPs) una volta identificata la stringa dell'architettura, mentre per quelli secondari (nomi in codice, ID, supporti ecc.) si affida semplicemente alle tabelle aggiornate del proprio database.

  • Fixed system hang when GPU-Z starts on CrossFire systems (Catalyst driver bug)
  • Fixed application crash when scanning for power sensors (NVIDIA driver bug)
  • Fixed memory size and GPU temperature reading on AMD Llano Fusion systems
  • Added command-line parameter -tab to select active tab on startup
  • Fixed OpenCL detection for all AMD Thames based cards (e.g. FirePro m2000)
  • Added version number to about dialog
