The overclock specialist Roman “der8auer” Hartung has published the first very detailed guide on how to modify the Geforce GTX Titan X, unlocking its OC potential with extreme cooling systems (Phase-Change, Cascade, D-ICE and LN2).

Like all of the last generation GeForce boards, the GTX Titan X suffers from the nVidia's cost reduction policy, offering a cheap PCB coupled with a power section full of second-class components (remember that even the GTX Titan X is assembled by Pegatron Corp. TW). In this case, the only way to fix the problem is to rely on external modules (like the EVGA Epower, the ASUS Power Card and the Gigabyte G-Power) with additional VRMs able to grant a higher voltage supply to the GPU. These modules are proper PCBs that need to be soldered directly on the videocard, operation that requires technical skills and cold blood.
