Let me introducing you the new AMD marketing strategy, and how Lisa Su is changing it. First of all, you have to know that every big IT company dictate a lot of limitations when they send some hardware stuff to review. They have a great contractual power, so they can do this.

If you do a good review, you will have lots benefits: tons of ads, an astonishing number of pieces of hardware, free business trips to exotic cities, etc. Do you write a negative review? So … you are crossed out from the list of friend sites! No more benefits!

AMD has no money to do this … they have almost no money to do R&D! The only thing AMD can do is to send some sample to review. Not much, if we consider that other companies can offer much more. So, some sites could be a bit biased.

AMD, to avoid bad review, has just one option: refuse to send the cards to the sites judged unfair. When you have no money, you have to find another way to reach the same goal.

Right or wrong choice? I don't know, but I hope that AMD will send us some sample to review from now on. At the present moment just Sapphire send us some AMD stuff to review. :(
