Robot Entertainment ha annunciato lo sviluppo di Orcs Must Die! Unchained.

Per la prima volta l'apprezzata saga di tower defense dello sviluppatore/publisher texano sarà aggiornata con la modalità multiplayer competitivo. Ricordiamo che il primo OMD! era solo in single-player mentre il sequel (OMD!2) aveva la campagna in singolo da poter affrontare anche in coop (solo 2 giocatori).

In OMD! Unchained ci saranno due squadre, composte da 5 giocatori, che si sfideranno su entrambi i fronti (attacco e difesa): potranno piazzare trappole per la difesa ed evocare le orde di orchi per l'attacco.

L'uscita è prevista per la fine del 2014 e come sempre la distribuzione in Europa sarà affidata a GameForge.

Orcs Must Die! Unchained is an answer to that and much more. It’s a realization of Robot’s ambition for what the franchise could ultimately become. It’s bigger, deeper and meatier. We hope fans enjoy playing it as much as we have enjoyed testing it.
