L'israeliana CompuLab ha presentato il successore del piccolo ed apprezzato (in patria) Fit PC3. Punto focale della nuova macchina è la presenza dell'APU dedicata al mercato Embedded AMD GX-420CA, basata su architettura Jaguar, nel modello Pro e dell'APU A4-1250 (Temash) nel modello base.
Il Fit PC4 è stato pensato per compiti di networking, routing e sorveglianza. Le due porte Gigabit Ethernet, la buona GPU integrata, le numerose porte USB, la possibilità di utilizzare le Mini SIM telefoniche, la dissipazione completamente fanless lo rendono un terminale eccelletente per questi compiti, come ha affermato anche Irad Stavi, Chief Product Officer presso CompuLab: “Tripling performance between fit-PC generations while maintaining form-factor and price is a noteworthy achievement. Fit-PC3 gained excellent traction in signage, video surveillance and many other vertical markets where durability, functionality and modularity matter. The performance boost and improved networking capabilities make fit-PC4 an outstanding miniature fanless solution for demanding applications”.
Il prezzo consigliato è pari a 299$ per la versione base, e a 380$ per la versione Pro.
