AIDA64 giunge in una nuova, corposa versione, la v7.70. Questa andrà a sostituire l'ultima release stabile, la v6.75, di cui avevamo parlato qui. Questa major release andrà a mkigliorare notevolmente la sicurezza, con la riscrittura del codice che va a interagire con il Kernel di Windows (ricordiamo che AIDA64 v6.00 uscì ben 6 anni fa, nel 2019): "As part of our ongoing commitment to security and performance, we have worked closely with Microsoft to implement several security improvements in the AIDA64 kernel driver. These enhancements ensure better protection, stability, and compatibility for all users".
Questa nuova versione, inoltre, andrà a migliorare notevolmente - sia graficamente sia dal punto di vista delle funzionalità - il Sensors Panel, un'ultile feature per tenere sotto controllo diversi aspetti del proprio PC: "The highly customizable hardware monitoring module now features a new color picker dialog with RGB, HSV and hex color input, a set custom and recent colors, and supports multiple color palettes as well as dark mode. The updated SensorPanel also offers configurable grid lines, custom gauges with up to 101 states, and a set of new date and time representation items".
Non mancano, in ultimo, gli aggiornamenti riguardanti la più recente componentistica hardware: "Multi-threaded OpenCL GPGPU benchmarks, graphics processor, OpenGL and GPGPU details, temperature and cooling fan monitoring for the latest GPUs: AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700, Radeon Pro W7400, Radeon Pro W7700, Radeon RX 7300, Radeon RX 7400, Radeon RX 7800M, Radeon RX 9060, Radeon RX 9060 XT; Intel Battlemage (BMG-G31); nVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop, GeForce RTX 5060, GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop, GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop. RAID member enumeration for Intel VMD NVMe RAID arrays. Support for PCI Express 7.0 controllers and devices".
