According to the information we have acquired so far, the AMD's VSR technology (Virtual Super Resolution), built in response to nVidia's DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution), will also be available to some GCN 1.0 GPUs, probably the ones that will be used in the next Radeon R7 3XX series.

This means that these new videocards will integrate all of the most important features recently introduced by AMD, with the exception of TrueAudio and FreeSync. Since the R7 3XX GCN 1.0 will satisfy the low-end and lower-middle market, these shortcomings should be of little to no interest to the customers. It is said, however, that AMD cannot bring the VSR functionality on older GCN GPUs not included in the 3XX series.
